The Pulse Test

The Pulse Test

The Pulse Test 150 150 Larry Breedlove

In 1956, Dr. Arthur F. Coca, M.D. first published his book The Pulse Test. In my opinion, it is a groundbreaking piece of work that gives people a tool that they can use to determine food sensitivities or allergies. The book is now in the public domain and is available at https://soilhealth.org

Dr. Coca was a well-respected medical doctor with a long list of medical credentials. He discovered that when a person is exposed to a food sensitivity or allergy, his pulse would spike indicating that the autonomic nervous system is registering stress.  Hi discovery was met with general disinterest and rejection by his colleagues. Fortunately, Dr. Coca wrote his book for the layperson, thus gifting the world with his insights.

His technique is simple but requires a commitment by the patient. The details are outlined in his book, along with numerous case studies of people with a wide range of conditions that were resolved by utilizing his technique.

In a nutshell, you have to determine your baseline pulse rate. This will usually be the morning pulse before you have eaten. Check again several times after eating. An increase in pulse rate of 10+ usually indicates a sensitivity has been encountered.

Once you have identified your sensitivities, you can avoid them or try one of several techniques of desensitization. Remember, the book can be downloaded for free at the website below.
